A Century of Furniture: the Rose Cabinet Shops exhibition opens

Lecture by Ken Farmer and WKRAC Director Betsy White on American 19th-Century Furniture and the Rose Cabinet Shop followed by public reception with cash bar. Ken Farmer will provide an overview of styles and important furniture centers for 19th-Century American furniture. This lecture will provide the context for a brief talk by Arts Center Director Betsy White on the exhibition A Century of Furniture: The Rose Cabinet Shops. Kenneth W. Farmer, Jr. is the owner of Ken Farmer Auctions and Appraisals, LLC based in Radford, Virginia. His specialties include the appraisal and selling of American furniture and folk art and sales of fine art and decorative art.
